The Mohanji Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina has made significant strides in 2024, thanks to the generous donation of two pieces of land, one near the capital city of Sarajevo and the other in the northwestern region of the country. These lands are set to host two Mohanji Peace Centers, envisioned as places of harmony, spiritual growth, and selfless service. The land in Laktaši, spreading over approximately 3,000 m², is set to feature a temple and accommodation facilities for visitors, spiritual seekers, and volunteers. This center will serve as a hub for spiritual retreats, meditation programs, and various workshops that promote stability, and inner peace. The facilities aim to provide a serene environment for those seeking solace and deeper connection with themselves and the nature. The second piece of land, located near Sarajevo, covers around 1,700 m² and is envisioned to host a temple and a Satsang hall. The Satsang hall will serve as a space for gatherings, teachings, and spiritual discourses, fostering community connection and collective growth. Recently, sacred Shirdi Sai Baba Murtis arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina, symbolizing the spiritual depth and sanctity that will imbue these centers. Preparatory work is already underway to ready both sites for the construction phase.
The center near Sarajevo has already become a focal point for local volunteers and supporters. Various activities have been held there, such as commemorations of the International Day of Yoga and Guru Purnima, as well as sessions for practicing techniques given by Mohanji. The center also serves as a hub for selfless service initiatives, with volunteers dedicating their time to maintaining the land. These efforts not only create a sustainable and nurturing environment but also reflect the principles of seva (selfless service) that are central to Mohanji’s teachings. The Mohanji Peace Centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina are designed to transcend religious and cultural boundaries, welcoming people from all walks of life to come together in the spirit of unity, peace, and unconditional love. They will offer a range of programs and activities, including meditation sessions, yoga workshops, spiritual discourses, and community-building events. The centers aim to inspire individuals to live in harmony with themselves, others, and nature, fostering a ripple effect of peace and positivity. As construction progresses, the centers are expected to become vibrant hubs for transformation and spiritual upliftment, contributing to the global mission of the Mohanji Foundation to create a world filled with compassion, kindness, and unity.
