The Mohanji Peace Center Denmark is a beautiful property located just an hour’s drive from Copenhagen Airport and only five minutes from the gentle waves of the Baltic Sea. The Denmark MPC rests on 4.5 acres of serene land, complete with two charming houses, stables, a barn, beautiful gardens, and a large meadow.
How We Got Mohanji Peace Center Denmark
It all began at MCB Scotland, when Mohanji planted a seed by asking, “When are we going to have a center in Denmark?”
At the time, the idea felt almost impossible, and I replied honestly, “But Mohanji, we don’t have any people.”
In his usual optimistic and undefeatable manner, he smiled and said, “It doesn’t matter. When Sai Baba comes, people will come.”
Still unconvinced, I added, “But Mohanji, we don’t have any money.”
Calmly, he replied, “Don’t worry. Money will come.”
And it did.

Soon after, we received a donation and began searching for suitable land. After six months, we found a beautiful property, signed a contract, and paid a deposit. We even invited Vijay Ramanaidoo, our counsellor, to visit and see the house.
However, further investigation revealed too many unresolved issues, and the projected costs were far too high. We had to cancel the agreement. Unfortunately, Vijay was unable to cancel his flight and asked if we could find another house to visit within a week.
After checking the real estate market daily for six months, I knew how unlikely that was. I was disheartened by the cancellation, yet I forced myself to open the computer once more, and there it was.
A stunning property with two houses, surrounded by nature and vast land. The only challenge was that it was well beyond our budget. To make matters more complicated, the real estate agent was unavailable on the day Vijay arrived from London.
Still, Vijay suggested that we at least visit the surroundings. When we arrived, we asked the owner if we could walk around the garden and view the property from the outside. She kindly agreed, and her husband soon invited us inside for a private viewing, without an agent present.
From the very beginning, we felt an immediate connection with them. When we shared that we were a spiritual foundation searching for a home, the husband told us that he knew Shirdi Sai Baba, who had appeared to him in a dream. In the dream, Baba had freed him from ties and ropes, allowing him to move freely again.
Inside the house, we discovered a dedicated satsang and meditation space. The property had previously been used for counselling and healing, and the energy felt peaceful, warm, and uplifting.
We learned that the couple had been trying to sell the house for years without success and were now willing to negotiate. They also shared that a neighbor had once told them they would only be able to sell the house to people who could maintain and uphold the positive energy accumulated there, and now, they felt those people were us.
From that moment, everything moved quickly. Mohanji soon visited the property and met the owners, who were still living there.
In the satsang hall, the husband approached Mohanji and said, “Please help my wife. I am a healer by profession, but I cannot prevent her from gradually going blind.”
Mohanji gently replied that he could not promise anything, but that he would do as much as possible.
What followed was deeply touching. The couple received Mohanji’s Shaktipat, and Shirdi Sai Baba’s Udi was gently applied to their foreheads. For those who know him, Mohanji always goes out of his way to help people selflessly and without conditions.

Mohanji also placed some of the sacred ashes in the courtyard, blessing the house to become the first Peace Center and the abode of Shirdi Sai Baba in Scandinavia.
Bhumi Puja
On January 1st, 2026, we moved onto the land, and at the end of the month, the Bhumi Puja — the sacred consecration of the land — took place at Mohanji Peace Center Denmark. Nature itself seemed to participate in the celebration. A curious squirrel peeked through the window, while birds gathered around the house, as if they too wished to be part of the ceremony.
After the powerful Homa fire ritual and the consecration of nine bricks, which will be used to build the temple, we moved in procession around the entire property, chanting Om Sai Namo Namah.
Afterwards, sacred soil from significant Dattatreya sites in India was gently placed into our own ground, symbolizing the connection between sacred Bharat and this land, between tradition and the present moment, between the inner and outer worlds.
On January 28th, 2026, during the official inauguration, Mohanji shared this message:
“Welcome to Mohanji Peace Center, Denmark. Hello friends.
Mohanji Peace Center Denmark is being inaugurated today, January 28th, 2026. This is a real landmark. This is our first center in Scandinavia. I welcome all of you to come, be here, connect with yourself, attain the highest level of inner silence, and reach the highest point in this life.
I wish that this center becomes a catalyst for many people in the region to find themselves and be effective in the world. The whole purpose of the Mohanji Foundation and our methods is to bring people to themselves, and through that self-connection, reach the highest level of effectiveness by connecting to the consciousness within and outside.”
The upcoming temples of Shirdi Sai Baba and Lord Dattatreya will be the first of their kind in Scandinavia and will stand as sacred bridges, linking the path of Raja Yoga to Northern Europe.
The large meadow offers enough space for a substantial kitchen garden. All Mohanji Centres are vegan sanctuaries, and we live a plant-based lifestyle. Fortunately, we have a dedicated team of experts who support all Mohanji Centres in developing the land according to the principles of permaculture. Our aim is to be as self-sustaining in food as possible.
We look forward to sharing this space and warmly welcome everyone who wishes to be part of the journey.
