The first law of Spiritualism is the LAW OF THOUGHT:

Everything is mind; the universe is created in the mind. Whatever we see around us in the physical form is manifested by thought. These thoughts are there in space all around us and touch our mind all the time. At times we are not sensitive enough to grasp these thoughts. Once we develop the ability to connect with these thoughts, we will be able to access so much information available in this universe and our expansion will be aided by downloading data whenever necessary. Every thought is physical and so there is the possibility of access. The origin of every physical world has its origin in the invisible. Every thought is roaming in space and above space is silence. It simply indicates that there is only one consciousness and that is universal consciousness.

The second law is the LAW OF WORDS:

Thoughts form words and whatever is outside affects within, just as whatever is within affects outside. So words have great agreement with the physical and mental worlds too. It is words that help us unite with silence and that also separate us to transcend into oneness. There is no separation in the universe and everything originates from one source. If you see the source of sound, it will take you to the same oneness, which is silence.

The third law is the LAW OF VIBRATION:

If there is a word or any other sound, it flows out as vibration. Energy vibrates in different frequencies and everything is energy, so we can say that everything in this space is vibrating. If one energy is vibrating at a particular frequency, it will attract another frequency vibrating in the same direction. The vibration is then multiplied and it becomes more and more powerful. These energies vibrate in seven layers in the physical body which are known as chakras and as seven sounds which are known as ‘suras’. The first four lower suras are based on emotions which are the first four chakras (earth, water, fire and air). The fifth is ether. First you master the first four vibrations, then you also master the fifth. Above that is awareness. Truth and silence is the source of all this. Silence is again at the top, where all the vibration comes from, again as one. In Chakra Shuddhi Dhyana of “Aatmic Awareness” you learn to see all this vibration by being witness to it. This top vibration puts you into unconditional love. The lowest vibration is hate, jealousy, greed, lust, anger, etc., which also affects other more subtle negative vibrations in the universe.

The fourth law of spiritualism is the LAW OF DUALISM:

When there is vibration, a ripple is created in that frequency. Vibration moves in a circle. Now since we cannot see the circle because the start and end points are the same, we think that there are two. This creates duality. So you can also say that everything is dual, everything has a pole, end-to-end. Negative poles and positive poles create vibration in between. So it is shown in bhakti, that the bhakt and bhakta are the same but appear as two. Both opposites are identical in nature and degree. Vibration moves between two extremes of the same thing, so similarly you cannot know one till you know the other. Examples include love and hate, good and bad, yes and no, light and darkness, peace and war, energy and matter, pursharth and Shakti.

dualism

It is only through these opposites that you can transform yourself from hate to love, from evil to good, from no to yes, from darkness to light, from fear to courage, from matter to energy, from pursharth to Shakti. It is only by moving consciously through rising vibration that we merge with the other. Because of our limited knowledge, we resist and duality appears as real in our life. In order to see this separation, one has to rise above duality, from where one can see the whole as whole. Whole is truth and truth can only be seen when you become a witness and see both as one and the same. Witness-hood is the place where all is one. So in the Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta it is said that “God is above the opposite”. ‘Aatmic Awareness’ is learning to rise above duality and being aware of our Aatmic quality by always considering good and bad as equal and by living a balanced life in bliss. Acting in bliss can be achieved by taking complete responsibility for the good and the bad instead of reacting to it.

The fifth law of spirituality is the LAW OF BEAT (RHYTHM):

Now that we have understood duality, vibration, sound and words, we will see that everything has rhythm, it has perfect beats. You can notice this rhythm in waves, swings, movements of rise and fall, in music, in business, etc. Any thing that flows has a rhythm, a rhythm of off and on. When we see images there are actually subtle gaps, but because of the speed we cannot notice them. Similarly there are gaps between our thoughts, gaps between breaths, we walk by creating a gap, the gap between forward and backward, up and down. This gap makes us realize the rhythm and it is because of the gap that we realize the importance of silence. We have to allow silence to increase its portion.

If we take a pendulum striking from left to right, imagine one side as positive thoughts and the other as negative. As we get attached to the movement, we miss seeing that it is attached up the top at one single point. We miss the oneness. Once the two sides lose their importance and the gap is increased, we get detached and move upwards to see all as one. We have to learn to focus from the top to seize the duality and then we can rise above the rhythm into silence.

The sixth law is the LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT:

We know that opposites lie at the end of the same line, so both are one. From this we can also say that a cause has its effect, just as an effect will have a cause. If one end vibrates it is going to affect the other end, though in reality the other end is you. In the spiritual world, any effect in the outside world has a specific cause, whose origin is in our mental world and every cause of the mental world will affect the outer world. This makes us the writer of our own destiny. To master your real being, or you could even say, to unveil your true nature and its powerful potential, you need to create awareness of this mental world.

Destiny or luck are nothing but terms used by humanity in ignorance of this law of cause and effect. That is why sankalp is very important to create a habit of sitting above and keeping a watch on our mental, physical and emotional moments. All these appear to be inseparable, but they move in time and space. Whatever is changeable moves in time and space and is measurable. Anything which is measurable is 100% controllable, so you can always master the situation of cause and effect by simply moving above and seeing both as if you were a watchman whose job was to not get attached to any action, reaction or result.

The seventh law is the LAW OF SHIVA AND SHAKTI:

In other words we could also call it a law of gender. When I say Shiva, I am talking about a law of effort or pursharth, and Shakti as nature or prakriti. Previously we talked about the two ends of the same circle. Everything in this Universe has masculine and feminine gender. In the manifestation of this universe this has played a very important role and it has its own principles. Without this there would not be expansion. Merging of these two as one is the cause of complete creation. We are all expansion and an expression of this universal law. Outward flow of the feminine is the motherly expression which we call Shakti, that is love, patience, intuition and gentleness. Masculine qualities express themselves as vital energy, self-reliance, logic and intellect. In yogic terms these are known as the Ida and Pingala nadis. These two appear separate but they are one and connected from the base (Muladhara) to the forehead. From here it then separates, to merge as one with awareness and finally, into silence.

Overall what we learn from these spiritual laws is that behind every law is silence and THAT silence is unknown, with neither form nor sound. All our effort to grow and realize that we are all one and are all spiritual beings is the sadhna of realising the silence which is within and around us. We have all come from that silence and we will all merge into that silence. We are inseparable from that silence because we are that silence. We must strive to regain our awareness and BE again what we are.
