Mohanji Peace Centre Montenegro

In March 2023, the Mohanji Foundation received its first land donation in Montenegro. This beautiful plot, covering 35,560 m², is located in the peaceful village of Kameno, just 10 km from Herceg Novi, a stunning coastal city in northern Montenegro. The land is also conveniently situated 50 km from Dubrovnik and 35 km from Montenegro’s nearest airport. This year, we completed all the legal formalities, and the land is now officially under the name of the Mohanji Foundation. We have begun cleansing the outer perimeter of the land, with plans to clear the entire area soon. A signboard for the Mohanji Foundation will also be installed shortly. Following Mohanji’s guidance, the development plans include building Baba’s Temple, temples dedicated to Ganesha and Dattatreya, accommodations for priests and guests, and a residence for Mohanji.
In addition, we have acquired a second plot of land, measuring 800 m², in the picturesque Boka Kotorska Bay. This property offers stunning seaside views and is located just 15 minutes from both Tivat and Kotor. Our foundation’s board and council consist of seven dedicated members. Although we are a small team, we are filled with positive energy and unwavering commitment to our mission. By the end of 2024, we aim to establish a bank account and look forward to receiving more donations to support our projects on these two lands. Over the past six months, we have expanded our activities, launchingConscious Walkingsessions in three cities: Podgorica, Bar, and Kotor. Weekly meditation sessions have begun in Bar, with plans to start similar sessions in Podgorica and Kotor soon. We have also secured a new space in Kotor for a variety of activities, and our Acharya programs will commence soon.
