HEALING SELF: Can a healer heal you?

May 15, 2017 Uncategorizedhealing
healing-self

Is healing a cure or a relief? We have never understood healing. We think that healing is something which we can give to others, but actually healing is to participate in balancing our universal system, which we have destroyed through our thoughts and actions. Healing is what self does to another self.

There are two minds, the one you know as personal mind and the other is spiritual mind, which is universal mind too. Personal mind is small ‘i’ and spiritual mind is big ‘I’. Personal mind does not know its real ‘I’, that ignorance is called ego or selfishness or individuality. Big ‘I’ is consciousness, God, Love, Atman, Bhagwan and many more names given to it. Once you connect to your bigger ‘I’ your individual ‘i’ is dissolved. You merge into nature and act as nature (which is your real ‘Swabhava’) in complete co-ordination with the universe and each atom and sub atom of the universe. You are healed in the complete sense. You become Aware of your ‘Aatmic-Self’, of what you are. You start living as complete existence of self. You are the Universe and you will express yourself as love to the whole of humanity.

In Awareness you become more sensitive to life. Your mind (small ‘i’) is merged with universal mind (big ‘I’) and once this big ‘I’ operates through you, you become the most powerful person. That union of minds is called ‘YOGA’ = Union. You happen to participate in the process of creativity and that is the process of healing. Your desires and the desires of nature become the same. You act in complete tandem with everything and everyone. To begin this process, Mantras are the password to access your own energy field. They are sound vibrations that attract vibrations in the same frequency. The higher you go towards divinity, the more and more subtle it becomes, and then no sound…. You simply merge into silence. Mantras are from your small ‘i’ and silence is of the big ‘I’.

Buddha said “You are what you think”. Do you really know what you think? Human beings exist as conscious beings and that consciousness comes back to you once you become aware of it. Awareness is to recognize THAT consciousness. Let us understand the process of becoming aware. External Awareness is facts, data, historic events, results and conclusions, restrictions and resources, Geographical diagrams, sounds, visuals, etc. Internal Awareness is sensations, feelings, emotions, impulses, thoughts, etc. What we call mind is simply a collection of information and all the food you ate got converted to make this body. Soul is beyond the mind and body, so you can say that both, body and mind are a collection from outside. Only the soul is eternal.

Do you need to heal the soul? No!! It is only the body and its information that has got some kind of a virus which needs healing. You need to process it differently. You have to know that the way you handled your body and mind was not enough to remove the virus, so a healer was needed.

nature-healing

Can a healer heal you? Again my answer is no. It is you who has to adapt a different technique, which can help you to align yourself to universal self. A healer is simply a medium or a guide to show you a path.

Our healing does not happen because of the way we think. In our thinking, only our small ‘i’ (ego) is active, our big ‘I’ is ignored. Our healer is our big ‘I’. What you know as small ‘i’ is simply the information you have collected while growing, and you are dyed in that information. You can only think what you know, in this knowing you pick up things which you are comfortable with. This is conscious choice, and all your sufferings are your conscious choice. This choice builds up your character, which is known as ‘Sanskaras’ (impressions of the past). You are building these ‘Sanskaras’ every moment, day after day.

Now… what you chose in your past, you hold on to that past as the final result of your being instead of learning. Holding on to this past you choose to suffer and you live as a victim to that past situation. You live with this kind of stress and discomfort and you look for a healer to cure your sufferings instead of dropping your past and moving on to the new. Moving on to the new always, is a meditative way of living and is a way to heal your being in this physical world.

I will give you an example of what kind of life we are living. Suppose we are travelling in a train and we have some luggage in our hands. We board the train and keep holding the luggage till we get off the train and then carry on with our journey. Now the destination of you and your luggage was the same, but still you did not bother to drop it and traveled with that baggage in your hands. You get tired but still…. this is how we carry our suffering too. We do not drop, we do not learn from it and we go to the healers for solutions, when the solution to your sufferings was already within you. What you needed was simply a good guide to take you within to heal yourself.

Another problem is that you fear disapproval in life because you think this is what is always going to happen, but your success is always a step ahead. You believe that happiness grows out of other people’s approval, you spend most of your time trying to keep others happy. That kind of happiness does not give you real happiness. The other person will always control you and use you, thus you will get into deeper sufferings. In your ignorance you help others get into greed and lust. You play this approval act to keep yourself out of the blame. All the time your energy is spent to create that un-blamable self. So to protect your identity you create endless stories and explanations. You feel powerless if you do not give explanations for the situations. You do not see yourself as a part of the problem; it is always someone else.

Where the physical body is concerned, nature is the best healer. It is constantly healing you through water, earth, sunlight (fire), air and space. But we somehow abuse this by not being aware and by not supporting the natural system within and outside. Law of nature is God’s thought, which is the science of God. We do not heal self because our arrogance inflates our ego and it overshadows our soul.

Healing the self is going within and recognizing the divinity within, which will not only heal but will also help you heal the universe.

This world will be a wonderful place if each one of us learns to go within, and it begins with you.

The power of I AM in healing, forgiving and moving through difficult situations

October 30, 2015 Consciousnessforgiveness, healing, i am, power of i am

Humans are a gifted, blessed species with a level of spiritual free will that often goes unused in modern day society. It’s easy to feel doubt, to feel less than capable, letting time pass us by.

But humans have more power than they are led to believe. The great I AM pulsates through everything with confident divinity. Every passing moment, a person’s reality is created by a magical and synergistic blend of beliefs, intentions, thoughts and actions. Negative experiences from the past can skew one’s future reality by distorting their beliefs. The beliefs humans carry around initiate the trajectory for what may or may not come into their future reality. To let go of the old and embrace the new requires one to let go of past experiences, adopting a new mindset of hope.

As world-class rock band Rush puts it, “The future disappears into memory, with only a moment between. Forever dwells in that moment; hope is what remains to be seen.”

Subconscious affirmations guide our world view and what we attract

Each person’s subconscious mind holds a culmination of affirmations that play quietly, over and over inside their head. These thoughts make the person feel a certain way, influencing how they see the world around them. These affirmations may be negative or positive and may stay with a person, as long as they let these deep embedded thoughts remain a part of them. These affirmations are often derived from past experiences, or they may be stored because the person holds tight to the opinions of other people.

What we do to others, we do to ourselves

Every action that we engage in, every word that we breathe, every intention that we conjure, is sent out into time and space in our waking universe. What we do to others, what we do to the planet, is what we ultimately do to ourselves. This is how the human race is connected. When one gossips about others, they are only bringing more gossip upon themselves, into their reality, perpetuating a cycle of negative emotions. When one hurts another, the victim can choose to forgive, effectively ending the cycle of pain. This is why it’s important for humans to be mindful for what they ask into their lives, treating each one of their own thoughts and actions with caution and reverence. The golden rule applies: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

The power of I AM and I CAN in healing, forgiveness, and accomplishment

Two of the most powerful affirmations in the universe are the phrases “I AM,” and “I CAN.” These simple phrases can be turned into guiding principles that strengthen a person’s ability to heal, to mend relationships, to forgive, to move through difficult times.

A person defines who they are by consciously declaring the I AM’s in their life. With concentrated, precision-thought and mindful meditation, positive I AM’s can transform a person’s life, by opening up new doors, opportunities and relationships. Reality can change for anyone willing to move boldly in faith.

I CAN is a similar powerful set of guiding beliefs. What is the human race capable of if they embrace the power of I AM and I CAN positively? How do humans limit their own ability to learn and grow by holding onto negative affirmations and bitter accord?

As Rush so eloquently puts it, “The treasure of a life, is the measure of love and respect — the way you live, the gifts that you give.”

What are you telling yourself each day? I AM? I CAN?

How do you treat others?

What are you telling the universe to bring into your existence?

The Do’s and Dont’s to Help Us Heal

August 19, 2015 Mindheal, healing, healing process

A lot of the time when people  are sharing about what they are going through in terms of dealing with wounds from childhood others will share behind them making statements that do not help and can actually do harm. These statements  about how we need to stop blaming our parents, our parents did the best the could and they couldn’t give us what they didn’t get themselves are all part of the recovery from being abused process. But  forgiveness, understanding and healing are what happens at the end of the process not the beginning.

We wouldn’t tell a rape victim to stop blaming their rapist would we. Why would we tell someone who has been abused to stop blaming those who perpetrated the abuse on them. Maybe if I explain the process that I and many people I  have gone through to heal it will help others understand.

One thing that I think will help a lot is that no matter what age someone is when they begin the healing work their understanding of what happened to them is still that of a child. Even if it seems like they are blaming their abusers that is the farthest thing from the truth. A child doesn’t have the reasoning abilities to formulate the understanding of the situation to blame their abusers. For example, when I was abused by my mother at age 5 I did not have the ability to see that what she was doing was wrong and understand that she was responsible for what happened. The only person I had the ability to make responsible was my self, I must be bad or I did something wrong, that is why this is happening. The only way that we can stop from being the victim and move on with the healing process is to place the shame, guilt and responsibility where it belongs on the abuser. I think when some says we need to stop blaming our parents they are helping us to move out of being a victim when in reality not placing the blame on them is what keeps us a victim.

healing bearIn order to heal we can’t afford to afford to give them a break by trying to understand their motivation. If we jump to try to understand why they did what they did we will miss all the work that allows us to heal. We need to make them responsible in order to find our anger which masks our pain. The peeling of the onion in this process is anger, pain, anger, pain. We need to get all these toxic emotions out of us in order to be filled with the love we need to heal. Only then can we reach a place of understanding and forgiveness.

Please let us have our process. It is hard enough to work through all our questioning and minimizing about what happened without others doing the same. We need to be able stand in our truth which is the first step on our path to healing.

Just like in all areas of recovery you can not fully understand it if you haven’t been through. But everyone is capable of giving us the the compassion, patience and love that we need in order to heal. It really is as easy as do you wish to help or hurt them in their process. It is simply a choice.

Simple Living, High Thinking: Health Tips from Bhagavad-gita

February 8, 2015 Consciousnessbhagavad gita, healing, health tips from bhagavad gita, krishna bhagavad ghita, original healing, simple living high thinking

Since time immemorial, human societies have championed Mother Nature’s therapeutic splendor as a reliable and sacred source of healthcare.

In the past century, Earth has become a swimming pool of toxic substances: recreational and pharmaceutical drugs, pollutants, household chemicals, food preservatives, etc. So whether one is a spiritual dilettante, a vigorous meditator or staunch atheist, it is important to be aware of the various health issues sprouting up during this iron age of Kali, the age of quarrel and hypocrisy.

By learning how to make conscious decisions about our material wellbeing we can avoid unnecessary disturbances and peacefully perform our spiritual practice.

According to the classic yoga text of ancient India, Bhagavad-gita, the organic healing technology injected into prakrti, or material nature, is a divine gift from the Supreme source of existence. For example, Krishna, the all-attractive One, says, “I am the healing herb” (9.16), “the taste of water” (7.8), and “the heat in fire” (7.9).

Mother Nature’s remedial gifts and our material body are thus hardwired to function harmoniously by Krishna’s will. In this connection, the leading exponent of the science of Krishna yoga, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada comments that “Natural foodstuff which is meant for human being, they are full of vitamins already there by nature’s law, by God’s wish.”

PURITY IS THE POWER

Krishna is known as Vishvambhara, the maintainer of all living entities, and out of His sweet grace He provides the most effective, restorative and purifying solution for maintaining one’s health. By His divine arrangement, Mother Nature unconditionally produces a galore of therapeutic herbs, plants and essential oils.

It is for this reason that pure, holistic approaches to health naturally help create a symbiotic relationship between physical necessities and spiritual goals. (1)

nature healingBhagavad-gita therefore emphasizes the importance of purity in relation to the development and potency of one’s spiritual practice. Similarly, good health and bodily vigor also depend upon the purity of the remedial measure taken.

Taking care of our health in a spirit of higher consciousness entails doing everything we can to keep ourselves healthy, not only physically but spiritually as well. In this way a life of simple living and highest thinking is easier to carry out.

Our health is something we don’t regularly spend time thinking about, until we get sick. Bhagavad-gita therefore presents a paradigm in which the perfection of a healthy human life is to act in accordance with the Supreme. Activities that are not in tune with Krishna’s natural order are thus irregular, artificial and entangling.

Similarly, remedial processes incongruent with natural, holistic goals can also entangle us further into bodily grievances.

For example, the Western medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the US; a shocking 783,936 total number of deaths per year are caused by conventional medicine according to a study done by the NCHS (2).

Despite the US’s enormous annual expenditure of $2.8 trillion, or $8,915 per person, on healthcare in 2012, it ranks 46th on the list of the world’s best healthcare systems (3) (4).

Taking care of our health in a spirit of higher consciousness entails doing everything we can to keep ourselves healthy, not only physically but spiritually as well. In this way a life of simple living and highest thinking is easier to carry out.

Krishna designed His material creation in such a way as to provide all living entities with the basic necessities to balance their energy, prevent illness and rejuvenate their body to its immunity.

Integrating our self-healing habits with natural solutions can therefore deepen our relationship with Mother Nature, who is nothing more than a beautiful expression of the Supreme.

green eyeORIGINAL HEALING

The spiritual science of bhakti-yoga helps one become disentangled from the ghastly material warfare that we are vehemently thrown into. By adamantly shifting our engagements from material to spiritual we can begin to experience our original transcendental nature.

Similarly, by reforming our self-healing habits from artificial to natural we can create a bodily atmosphere that is conducive for spiritual development. Otherwise, we may find ourselves arduously struggling to cure unwanted ailments rather than focusing on the supreme goal of life.

For thousands of years, Mother Nature’s medicine has been the original healthcare, but due to the progression of Kali-yuga, the age of degradation, it has become underrepresented as an “alternative” choice.

An organic, holistic approach towards health that utilizes Krishna’s refined medical gifts is diametrically opposed to the man-made methods that employ synthetic medicine.

Natural healthcare has an emancipatory intent to free us of unnecessary illnesses so that we may absorb our existence in transcendental consciousness. Whereas synthetic drugs tend to deceptively ensnare one with increasing side effects and hefty bills.

KRISHNA IS THE HEALING HERB

This vicious duality between artificial and natural medicine has sparked a growing curiosity for alternative healthcare options that are cheaper, safer and more effective.

In previous ages, herbal remedies and other natural solutions were sufficient in themselves for curing and improving one’s health. Nowadays, due to the influence of Kali-yuga, it is required to extract the healing properties from thousands of herbs, plants and barks if one wishes to experience the same remedial force they were originally instilled with.

Despite all of this, a perennial gift within this material existence has yet to lose its healing efficacy: essential oils. The use of essential oils for medical practice, beauty treatment, food preparation and religious ceremony has been highly revered among many cultures throughout history, including the ancient Vedic civilization.

The highly potent efficacy and therapeutic aromas of essential oils, which are 50 to 70 times more powerful than dried herbs, is a clear reflection of Krishna’s lovely arrangement to provide natural healthcare unto all living entities. After all, He is the Healing Herb and “the original fragrance of the earth” (7.9).

A lifestyle deeply embedded with natural solutions is thus in accordance with the principles of Bhagavad-gita, which teaches one how to live a simple lifestyle in the material world while cultivating a lovingly sublime, devotional relationship with God.

healingBy educating oneself about natural healing methods, one can easily begin to engage in practical self-healing habits that are congruous with the universe’s divine principles.

But that’s not all. In addition to the intake of pure, organic medicine one must also regulate their bodily routine, diet and exercise to nourish their health and prevent unnecessary illness.

For example, Krishna explains how there is no possibility of advancing as a transcendentalist “if one eats too much or eats too little, sleeps too much or does not sleep enough” (6.16). “He who is regulated in his habits of eating, sleeping, recreation and work can mitigate all material pains by practicing the yoga system” (6.17).

Above all, the most important factor contributing to our overall well-being according to the Bhagavad-gita is the consistency, determination and intensity of our spiritual practice.

A lifestyle deeply embedded with natural solutions is thus in accordance with the principles of Bhagavad-gita, which teaches one how to live a simple lifestyle in the material world while cultivating a lovingly sublime, devotional relationship with God. By educating oneself about natural healing methods, one can easily begin to engage in practical self-healing habits that are congruous with the universe’s divine principles.
